So true Roger. I really didn't know how to place it. Either verrtical or Horizontal. I guess I could have used some "burn in" but when I put a black frame around it, works well as it is.

:)))Most definately a favourite for me also...

Beautiful lines and shapes... The lead glass beside the right hand door... This section of the building looks like it has been painted metalic gold...:))) Someones cherished treasure... with the red, the jewel in the crown...:)))

Excellent PLUS John...:)

Thank you Roger.
I especially like this one but it has been hard convincing people that it has not been doctored in any way.

Cheers

Beautiful Fitzroy... Beautiful architecture... Thank heavens today these buildings are less likely to be hammered to a pulp and carted away... :)

Love the gritty contrast John, the early light is magic...:)))

:) The title very apt here... There is a *trapped* feeling on two levels John...

From inside the room, but the mind filtering out the window, through the tree and on to the street to escape...

...and also the tree, trapped, surrounded by the buildings, an overwhelming sense of survival...:)

Excellent again Sir...:)

Just zig zagging through your portfolio John...:))) You have a truly interesting and varied portfolio...

Another of my favourite things... Texture... Fingertip tickling texture... The eyes can feel the time taken for this to be... Almost like lichen attached to the masonry...:)))

Excellent work Sir...:)

:))) One of my favourite subjects... beautiful bark...

Love the natural stripes here John, like they have been carefully chosen and individually painted or rendered... also, like the slight angle of composition...:)))

Extra nice work Sir...:)))

:))) Beautiful country The Otways John... and to find forgotten treasures like these timber trolleys, still with their load, is wonderful...

Those timbers look magnificent, nicely air dried... It's a wonder they are still there...:)))

Wonderful area for photography or just peace...:)))

Lovely Sir, and the sepia tones suit the composition...

Thank you Ramy,

As for the effect, in addition to 16mm lens, I used the corner of the room for a bit of drama. The details are:
16mm (Leica lens)
Leica M8
Aperture F4
Exposure 16 seconds
ISO 160
Time: 12:04:55 AM! (it was dark)

The light source is coming from a small garden light.
Cheers John

Thanks Roger, as I wrote to Shelby, I was out by an hour. I just checked the DNG exif data and I was off by about an hour. As for the effect, in addition to 16mm lens, I used the corner of the room. The details are:
16mm (Leica lens)
Leica M8
Aperture F4
Exposure 16 seconds
ISO 160
Time: 12:04:55 AM! (it was dark)

The light source is coming from a small garden light.

As for an entry form for the Muswellbrook Photographic award, that would be very nice indeed, thank you very much.

Cheers John
