I like the photo and am a HUGE fan of your work...however on this image the subject of the photo is too tonally similar to his background causing him to sort of blend into it. The composition and expression is perfect, as always!

A nice capture. I don't normally like grain however the warm color and grain combine to give a pleasing vintage effect. The heavy contrast in the photo, however, washes out the midtones leaving the photo a little flat tonally. The framing is very good and I like the relaxed, non-posed posture and expression of the child. Good Work!

A lock on the gate of The Beast's close neighbor.

I could spend a week on the symbolism alone. A rich, wonderful image, beautifully executed and extrodinarily detailed.

Excellent!

I really really love your portfolio. I am dying to know how you manage to create such dark, moody scenes without losing the ultra-rich texture. It's almost surreal. Can you explain it to me?

Excellet work here!

I like how the background color matches the focal point of the image but doesn't cause the foreground to blend too much and lose focus. It's very complentary.

The lighting and crop (which suspends the chives with no visable grounding) leands a lovely, surreal effect to something that is typically very ordinary.

The curves and shape lead the eye through the photo and the simplicity gives it impact.

Again, very good work!

Hi! I added you to my friends list because I admire your photographic skills and thought I could learn something from you by looking at the photos you've taken. I probably should have commented, but I was just skimming photos and your profile made me say WOW. I wanted to make sure I rememebered to come back to it.

The expression is incredible. The lighting is gorgeous...the mood seems so pensive, so full of ecstatic energy.

Fantastic! I never see snow and ice like this. I don't know how northern people can keep from going out and playing in it ALL DAY.

The perspective is great! Really well done for a full-sun shot. You managed a difficult exposure that I've never managed to master.

Superb

I just love this. I love the bent, wind-blown petals. I love how the sun illuminates some petals giving them a golden glow. I love image of the sunflower against a gorgeous summer sky, so powerful and so fragile at the same time. I had to add this to my favorites.

Wow...I'm surprised this one hasn't gotten more comments. I am enraptured by the sublime beauty of this shot. It exquisitely captures an essence of complete serenity. The muted colors add beautifully to the mood of the scene. This is one I'd like to print out and hang on my wall at work.

Beautiful light and tone. The softness definetly works here, adding warmpth without detracting from texture and detail. Lovely!

You've done excellent work here! The moment is so perfectly and clearly frozen it looks like ice. What type of lighting did you use here? Natural room light, or something more? Whatever it was, it certainly worked for the good of the image as the relfections and catch-lights are very pleasing. Great job!

I love the warmpth and light. The perspective excellent. I like how the sun peeks out just behind the crook in the arm of the tree. Very nice.

Stunning. The use of color and light here is wonderful. I love the reflection and shadows. My only wish is that it were just a wee bit sharper. Overall, and excellent image.

You have a gift for capturing the beauty and delicacy of flowers. The lighting in this shot is superlative. It illuminates the fragile, translucent center and catches pleasing reflections from the water droplets. The perspective is perfect for this shot. Wonderful.

I've seen many photos using a similar technique, but this is by far the best I've seen. The warm colors and abstract images are very appealing. BTW, did you notice the light squiggle on the left looks very similar to your signature imprinted on the photo? I thought that interesting...

Technically perfect. Nice composition, good contrast and tones. Detail is distinctive. However on the subject itself I have to say...

What an apt title for an image! The colors knock you back on the floor and leave you gasping. Stunning! Detail, and composition are in perfect harmony. The lighting is especially pleasing as it seems to bring out every aspect of those glorious flowers. Wonderful!

Lovely capture. It makes me think of hidden enchanted pools where lonely adventures see their destiny, face, future, or perhaps an equally lonely, yet kissable frog. Given the change I don't think I would have been able to resist the urge to play with the reflections. Very nice.

Only a small peice of ice...yet it shimmers like a fine jewel, all the more lovely for the understanding that it's unique beauty will be slowly dissolved by the sun's light which is what gives it it's wonderful luster. I am really attracted to your work and the apprecitive eye you have for simple beauty in all things which most people would ignore.

This really is quite beautiful and intersting. The "imperfections" in the ice, the various debris, is what impresses the reality of the image and is what makes it so attractive. Very good.

What a rather unique image! Is it on a wall? On a floor? It's impossible to tell. I like how you used the emptiness around the subject as it draws more attention to it...makes it almost impossible to look away from. I find I am curious as to the nature of the pattern on the teapot. Is it a cityscape, or something else altogether. I've been told to avoid centering a subject, but I think it rather works for this particular image. Good work!

My first thought upon seeing this image "Wow. Neat." Great perspective, but what really attracts me to this image is the originality of the color/BW effect. It seperates and defines this image. Quite good!
