Thank you for your visit and comment... I love the fact that you use wierd in describing any part of my work. Somehow "wierd" is a word I use when i can't describe something or feeling.
It's certainly much better than "cute", which I get alot b/c (hopefully this is why) I shoot alot of Kids.
and they are CUTE!
I have trouble uploading images to this flog. I don't seem to understand how to crop for these pages.

your portfolio up to now is really impressive. very refreshing ideas.
this one is really cool with the beautiful colored eggs and the kitchen tool in the middle. weird but interesting composing ;-)

That is a wide angle lens so you are probably seeing some distortion at the edge, but that is the horizon, naturally as seen thru a 17 mm on a digital camera.
Please feel free to comment anytime, I enjoy dialogue around images.

That's very well done Andrea, the perspectives of the child and the scenery look right. There is a disconcerting tilt on your horizon though Andi, just under 1 degree clockwise would solve it. (don't I always have to find something!)Ian

Lovely composition and composite work, nice sentimets too. I would like to see the shadow of the girls extend to her feet just to make it seem she is actually standing in the sand. She does not seem to be jumping and so the gap to the shadow seems just a little odd. Not complaining though it's lovely and impressive work.
