It's a good shot, but I've a feeling this would work better in black and white, plus a little crop at the bottom, hope you don't mind
Regards, Gary

good work. i tried the same panning method in sichuan trying to shoot photos of horses racing by. didnt quite work out the way i planned. its not easy to do this panning technique, especially with this lens. too bad there wasnt more of a background to show a more interesting blur. nice shot nonetheless. james

Hi Glenn,

I like the frozen moment - one can feel the power and the concentration of the guys on the field. Good focus point and format. The only mildly disturbing element is the single helmet on the lower part - I would tend to clone it out ;-)

anyway good sports action!

best wishes,
Thilo

I was up around 20 rows but it always looks like i am on the sidelines, must be because of the lens. The guy next to me told me there was 2 players from each team left from the 1997 Super Bowl. What a great day that was to be a Packer fan.

Beautiful hill slope. Wish there was a little more foreground space and the overall image be a little darker.

hi Glenn..
the idea and the point of view to are incredible, the fine perspective that you have created is strong.. the appropriate detail, light and color much good.. the first moment I have thought one to scanner and to the film, but then I have seen the D70.. as it is possible that it has created those dark spots on the sky.. maybe is something on the objective?..
is not a problem for me, but with a little Clonestamp the play is made!!!
cheers
