concerning critique, I'd like to see the rope in a different position, more out of the middle, like the cropped version attached...
beside of that it is a nice finding and capture

Gary, thx for your comment, damn it, I thought the scratch was on the window, but a very close to the negative stripe shows it goes through three negatives :( so I have to take it as it is...

...the shadow catched my attention...the texture in the background is very fine...
I hope you don't mind a very personal proposal...to give the composition a more abstract feeling I would crop from the top half of the leaf...increase the mental split between the reality and what the light makes out of it...
