Excellent shot ... everything about this image is so perfect.Ivona i have one suggestion for you.You should put this image as well in the abstract category.And interestingly you have one category still left.It is an interesting and important act in life of every living creature.And those two spiral cord could very well symbolise the spiral life movement of these two creatures. Just when,the two cords meet,these creatures meet too.Then they will go far away from each other as the gap widens in the cords...So interesting ...
Sometimes some images should be praised for the subject for the meaning it carries and not just for the technical brilliance.This image belongs to the one of those category.
Deserve award.

I was going to say this is a simple and effective image but i suppose it's depicting something very complex. The green background really sets the action.
