Chris - you've done it again! Wonderful photograph with a very interesting choice for the forground. You seem to have a knack finding the sacred in the seemingly secular, and then inviting your viewer to enter into that magical realm. I am intrigued about how you lighted the logs?? It does not appear to be full-on flash??
Great work...I've enjoyed many shots in your portfolio.

This is a supurb photo Oleg....moody and mysterious, great lighting and contrast. It seems reminicent of the images that I was exposed to in the 60s during the height of the "cold war"...young soviet soldiers or militia gathering in small groups to plan some nefarious activities...the women, children, and old men are absent and hiding. Perhaps I am projecting too much into this image...but it is haunting and impactful. Technically, I like the duotone aspect....cold grays splashed with a few warm tone highlights. It works!

This is one lovely shot Michaelle. I've never played with the Holga, but this picture is motivating me to check it out. I love the contrast in this shot.

Great character study...she certainly convey "tude", haughtiness, and a bit of mystery. You captured so much of her energy that Jerred, though essential, almost becomes background instead of subject. I found this to be a fascinating shot...I hope to see more of your work

This really is an intimate portrait...very good shot. I agree with Elisa's comments about the cropping...after studying this photo I wanted to go hiking with your Uncle through the mountains!

Angelic - absolutely beautiful. I really enjoyed this photo. I have only one suggestion...the large shadow that descends from the upper left border of the photo pulled my vision away from the subtle translucent wing...I keep womdering how I might respond to this shot if you softened or removed this shadow???

I can only say "Excellente"

I like your work! This shot's beauty is the simplicity - yet it tells an age-old story. Very evocative, well composed, and impactful.

Interesting abstraction...I think that this image might have been helped if the lighting was less direct, less highkey...but overall I felt it to be a great study of texture.

Excellent shot...perfect balance of light and shadow....did you use a duo-tone process to bring it to nearly a monochrome color?
