Jon, Thank you so much for the invitation. I currently do not have a camera. I was originally going to buy an Elan 7E this summer, but i decided to save for a good Canon digital instead. Unfortunately the whole college thing eats into my cash flow a bit. Once i get some new work i would love to try it on your site. Thanks again

Super. I love this "grahic". Details, light, grain, color & composition is great. I'm not sure about the light at the top and the white reflection at the RHS. It could work without that I think. Anyway. Congrats to that image! Carlheinz

The color gives it the feeling you are going for, and it seems like the arrow is the subject of the photo. I think I agree, this would make a great square image.

I think this is in fact a square image. The right part, especially the big white spot near the corner is more disturbing than important...

I prefer the original version, the natural background there is more to my taste, as is the extra detail in the hair. Perhaps if you dodged the hair in this version to bring out the detail again (especially near the face) and then darkened the background right down to black the hair and the background would blend better for a nicer overall effect. Or even better, you could take the girl and reshoot her in front of some black fabric or something like that, so that you don't have to create things in PS.

I agree with Rebecca and Joshua, the perspective is very well chosen but there is missing some point of attraction... I am curious of your next attempt!

After posting my last comment I thought of a good idea: Somebody's feet and lower legs in the bottom left corner as they start to walk across the crosswalk. What do you think?

I like the shot...but something to draw the eye might enhance it. I'm kind of strange, but I think I'd have placed a pair of feet or even just shoes in a natual walking position . ( I told you I'm strange! ) lol

Hi Brent, Wow! Great colors, and as Harry said nice perspective. I love shooting from as low to the ground as I can get(I'm kinda short, so it helps, hehe). Thanks for your comment on my photo of the black & white bench and the colored leaves. I bid you many good shooting days and beautiful subjects! Keep your eyes open and your finger on the shutter!

I believe that this copy was inverted in Photoshop. I think that I have an older copy of this imgae from right after it was taken that is negative that I made in the darkroom. However, I'm not sure where it is so I redid it in ps. Im glad you all like it. -Brent

It is very creative! the effect of negative (how was it made? by photoshop?) and the compostion repeating the modules make it dynamic and original.
