Great use of the filter (s) ! Did you also use a grad ND filter ? All in all this is a really great photo, both nicely composed, great light and an beutiful sky...good work!
i like the fact that you stilel can se the ripples on the water, despite the relativly long shutter speed.

very nice... it surreal again like the other one I commented on... its as if I can see something that isn't there... nice effect... the sport is awsome to capture i bet... and a difficult moment i would imagine.

i like the colors variation in this photo... it seems to lack emotional appeal to me... not sure why... I do like what appears to be steam or fog from the water ... it apears so but its not really fog... just an illusion...

The top from about the kayakers nose level up and the lower forground had motion blur applied. First I made a hard mask around the head and an airbrushed mask elswhere to blend in..then applyed a moderate amount of motion blur. By masking tightly around the head the blur helps separate him from the background. The white foamy water next to the kayak is blured by the camera only.
