I agree with you Lori. I wish I could have blurred the background, but I'm not that good.

HI Jace,

While this plane is nicely colored and so neat looking, I like your other two images better. To me, this image looks kind of 'busy', the eye keeps wandering around in the background. (but that's just me...)

Great colors, and fantastic details.

nice work,
Have a GR8 day,
Lori

What an extraordinarily well captured image of a vintage trainer; great detail and perfect dof (depth of field) ... I feel I'm almost there ... GO NAVY!!! ...Gab

What a cool perspective! It's always fun to look at things a bit differently, isn't it? This seems just a tad too bright to me, but I really like it!

What a view! It would have been nice to get the entire window so the mast doesn't feel cut off...just my opinion. Or maybe a frame to anchor it on the page. Great colors. I love the flower box, gives it a summer feeling.

Lighting is balanced nicely here. Nice photograph including the words on the plane. I am headed to the Abbotsford, BC airshow next week and have been wondering what sort of angles to use to photograph these planes. I know museums limit the creativity of pictures with their roped off displays. Fly, fly away Snoopy!

Action shot! You need to boost the levels in this, Jack, and bring up the contrast, The Irish looking fella is a bit burned out, I guess you can select spot meter in-camera, rather than average, to avoid burnout of whites, but perhaps not in real time.

Martin.

Yes, I know. I still have family there. I'm in California now, but my heart will always be in P'Coloa. When I first looked at your photo I thought It was Fort Pickens, but after reading your comments on it, I realized I was wrong. Still brings back memories though.

Your photos really take me home. I grew up in Pensacola. I miss it so much! You have a great eye for photography. I miss running through that fort hiding in all the little nooks and crannies.
