This effect was produced by the combination of long exposure (1/15 shutter) and the stage strobe lamp firing. Right tim, Right place i guess

It looks like Multi exposure technique, or a long exposure technique. I guess the best part of it is that it is really hard to tell which technique did you used...Or maybe you used both; multi-long exposure?

Man did I ever want to go to that show!!!!!!!!! I remember hearing about it. It was a little too far for me to get to. Anywho, on with the picture at hand, it's a great action shot, a little to much head room, but it's always tough to get the framing you want at shows, with the crowd slamming around!! I was going to comment on the exposure, but considering it's from APS, I suppose it's OK. \m/\m/
