Thanks for your very kind comments Lori, i had a look at your own photos, (wow !!! ) Respect, for haveing 'done' all these weddings, I've done a few. You require the patience of a saint, the tenacity of a bulldog and the instincts of a sheepdog to cope. Lovely stuff on your site. Best John

I love the light on the cabin wall. The horizon looks tilted but if you straighten it the boat will be tilted strange! probably best to leave it.

Thanks for the kind and helpful comments Jimmy, I have only just sorted out the Canoscan4000 scanning panoramics in two parts. I used to do it on my old Minolta scanner with no problems but gave up after a few abortive attempts with the Canon. So I have started using the Horizon 202 again. I agree about the Ektachromes I feel they give particularly 'clean' colours compared to Velvia, I do my own E6 processing, and find the Tetenal E6 kit particularly good. Thanks again John.

Stubbs the English artist would be proud of you Teunis. A lot of JPEG artifacts which I know won,t be in the original, perhaps try less compression?

Mmmmm you definitely have a thing about this lady!! Bottoms Up as we say here 8-)) Can I suggest using a wider aperture (on the lens that is !! ) to throw the trees in the background a bit more out of focus to isolate the subject. Nice shot though and nice bum!

i like it Alan, I would agree with trying it in B/W, the light area at the top is a little distracting, but I don't think you could have done much about that as trimming it off would lose the top of the arch. Nice shot never the less!
