Hi Elizabeth! I made a trip here which I've not done in years! Many have left that were on my friends so good to see photos from you. What a wonderful idea, love it!

Hi Peta!
Was just cruising myspace for Petas ( it's a slow day!) and saw Melbourne...and thought, hey I think that's Peta from here! lol I most likely will be in Melbourne next year with my daughter so maybe we could meet! Not sure but I may end up living there.

You did a great job on this btw. Amazing from the original. Excellent!

Hi Amanda! I crept in here and saw your name. What a gorgeous shot...she looks right out of a Victorian novel. Great job! I too haunt cemetery's!

Howdy SM.
Listening to the CD tonight, yep that's a great one! Many have a Beatlesque sound I think.

Hi again...we are now addicted to that station! Brooke says nothing like that around this great metropolis. She bows towards Seattle each morning anyway as required of a loyal Starbucks employee.
And I do too as I get free stuff.

Anyway very cool music, and much to my taste. Thankee kind sir! We are enjoying discovering!

I wish on the 'infamy'! lol...I see you before me somehow.
Darren has info on his site in his news area in regards to it...with a few pics.

Hiya John...the Elliott fan has heard one Sparklehorse song, not that one...she says they are cool so she better go get it so I can listen! I am back sorta elsewhere.

I have a show! Was getting prepared for that the past month. It's in a small gallery in a production company here, but it's a start!

PS
Elliott's CD is out, pretty nice work.

Wow, forgotten this one, looking at it with fresh eyes I love it...did I do this? lol

Actually more of what I'd prefer to do...but always get anal...that's why you and a few others are eye openers and make me a wannabe freedom thinker! lol
Hmmm, make sense!?

I'll truly be that when I forget pleasing the masses. I have a few I've held onto, maybe let em fly!

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments. I think this will be one of my favourite images.

Dave I was amazed at this basically straight out of the camera except for a top and bottom crop, and destauration/toning...handheld too.

Hope to be able to post more soon, I had a trip to my home in NZ and the wedding of my oldest daughter, so that has kept be rather busy weeding through about 2,000 images.

So John...a frenetic tango through!

Good to see you again, I wondered where you were!

I think I prefer the colour too John...beautifully balanced which is more fully realised in the colour, the shades of are splendid btw. Light is amazing.

Hi Marion, just saw the country feature and found you were in NZ same time as I was! Could not resist showing you my moon over Wellington near my old home, same night.

This is a beautiful shot, love the moonlight shimmering on the water.
Hope you had a nice time there. I had a fabulous time with my daughter visiting my old haunts.

Wow, love this John, you don't need to see her face to feel the emotion. Really wonderful. The grain is super!

I bought back my Dad's ciro-flex camera, now I need to get it working again. I just love looking through it though, so cool! He took all our childhood photos with it.

So cute! I made a similar discovery this afternoon in my holly bushes. But decided not to photograph it, as it was a mockingbird's nest and they really dive bomb given the chance. So lovely to see in detail what I sorta saw for a second. Mine had two hatched.

Thanks Sonia. My arm! I continue on, right now I'm sitting with menthol rub stuff on it as I gardened today. Found a bird nest with babies so it was worth it.

Thank you Emgy!
I agree about the camera, really feel like I'm using film again. Isn't the absence of noise fantastic! Even at high ISO's there seems little.

Hi Micky, that is a delectable vision! The greens and reds are just lovely. Not too much green...I think the leaves offer interest and balance. A wonderful still life.

I will be in Wellington for 3 weeks beginning May 18th. Looking forward to it so much, has been 17 years since I was home. Too long!

Hi Emgy! Long time I not see! This is fantastic, love the warmth of it and amazing shadows & light.

I see you too have the 300D. I got mine a few months ago and just love it a lot.
Hugs.
