Hi Andy - great to see a fellow Guernseyman on this site! I like the mood the fog gives this picture. I agree with khairul in that the fisherman looks a little 'lost' in the image. Perhaps if he wasn't so central may have helped. I'm guessing this is the reservoir? Perhaps we could meet up and go for a sunrise shoot down there sometime? I've been wanting too but haven't managed to get there yet. I think you've done a great job - especially seeing as this is your first upload. Welcome to Usefilm, I'm looking forward to seeing more of your pictures.

The light is very interesting but for some reason, the image doesn't really 'grab' me too much. I don't mean I think it's bad in any way, I think it's good but it just doesn't speak to me too much.

This is a lovely scene. The light is good and so are the reflections. This looks like a nice place for a holiday! Well done.

This is a really nice image, Anja. I don't know how you did it but I definitely like it. Great work, well done.

I like it Christiane. I like the repetition of the equipment, and the colours. Good work, well done.

Gorgeous contrast, Francesco and wonderful colours. Yellow really stands out from blue. I like it, well done.

It's a very interesting effect Jorge, I like it a lot. It works very well with a simple, uncluttered picture. Good work.

This is a lovely scene Jorge and the sillhouette is great. I get the feeling it's leaning jsut slightly to the left - but perhaps that's jsut me. Anyway, it's great. Well done.

Thanks very much for your comments. Tony - stay tuned, there's more to come from this location throughout the next week or so including some verticals.

Thanks again.

I notice a personal style in your images. Whereas the last I commented on I didn't think quite fitted, I think the effect works reall well in this one. I like it, well done.

Another great one with a great angle. I love the crystal-clear sharpness in your photos. Great work, well done.

Joanna, this is superb! I love the angle and how it looks like it's made completely of crystal or something. I've not done much architecture so I can't comment technically, but this looks great to me and I like it! Good work.

You're a madman, but I reckon there's something in it! It's completely off-the-wall but I like it. Incredibly original and refreshing. Good work!

I thought the thumbnail looked realyl good but now I'm not so sure about the effect in the sky. It's an interesting effect but personally, I don't think it quite befits the scene. Apart from that, I think it's a lovely scene.

It's a great effect, how do you do that? THe sky is lovely also and the ducks finish it off just-right! Well done.

I like it too! I like the texture to it - is it some effect you added afterwards? There's something I really like about it but I can't quite pinpoint it! Well done.

I like this, but there is also something about it which looks a little odd to me. Perhaps it's the contrast or something, I'm not quite sure. Anyway, it is a very nice scene and I like how you captured the break of the wave on the rock. Well done.

Very nice Kevin. Those rays almost look a little too perfectly placed - talk about right place at the right time! Well done.

WOW again! Youi realy are the macro-insect king! Your photographs are beautiful, frightening, stunning and interesting. I'm so impressed and inspired but I doubt very much I'll ever get results like this with just a set of extension tubes. I doubt I'd have the patience too! I love it, I love them all, well done.

I think this is brilliantly imaginitive. Although a globe (the teaching-aid kind) is obviously a replica of our planet in the universe, it is also an entirely different physical object and exists in a physically different place. YOu've done a wonderful job of putting it back in 'space' and made it appear to be a real planet. I'm trying to say things I don't quite understand how to explain. I hope you get the idea.

Anyway, the important thing is, I think it's a great idea and a superb photo. Well done.

These clouds are gorgeous, Rui. Generally, I get bored with similar 'sunsets' with no real subject but these clouds are a great and make a perfect subject themselves. I love the saturated colours. Well done.

Wonderful scene. Personally, I'd pull back just a touch on the levels and saturation of the sky. It just seems a touch too intense in comparison to the foreground to my eyes. Regardless, it's a beautiful scene and I like it very much. Worth getting out of bed for! Well done.

I like this a lot. it's a superb sillhouette. If it was me, I'd clone out the ray from the sun stretching across the shell, but that's just me. Regardless, it's stunning and a great way to make a sunset more interesting. Well done.

This looks like it's probably a stunning scene but I think you've saved it as a jpeg with a too-low quality level. Everything's blocky and pixelated. A higher quality version would probably be wonderful I guess.

Great, Danijel! I gave up smoking a couple of months ago and this makes me reminiss! I like the patterns of the smoke. Good work.
