With red-gold star some other story...
Red star - USSR -> Russia...
But Kiev - it's Ukraine, and we have some troubles in politics between Ukraine-Russia. And for non-political locomotive - gold colour. Like red, but no one assosiations with USSR-Russia ;-)

Now I have only one camera - Canon A70 (;(
But I hope in this year I buy new camera with normal optic etc...
I start photographing in school when I was 9 y.o. ;-) I have a lot of russian photo (Kiev, Zenit etc). But more I love - canon, nikon.I hope nikon D70 - good choice ;-)

I have a canon too but without optical zoom an A300 PowerShot; I`m a begginer too cause I started to take photos with my camera when I bought it, I mean 4 months ago.

Yes, it's possible. Him photo-beginner and make photo by Olympus. Now (as I know) he sold olympus & use Canon (wich I sell him ))

Hi Vlad. The photo is too romantic and well done. For me it is an unusual landscape because I live in Rome...only rain and bad weather without snow!

A beautiful winter scene, so nicely composed. I like how you achieved such great depth with the bridge and the fence leading us into the distance. The soft muted colors are a delight. Very nice.
