I pefer this to the high-contrast shot, despite the fact that I tend toward higher contrast imagery myself.
So...why the tear?

I think i like this version of the image better than the high contrast version.
If we all liked everything the same, it would be a very, very dull world.

The contrast between the beautiful woman and her surroundings are quite striking. This image is shocking that women actually might do this to themselves, in these kinds of surroundings.

well ... my opinion is ma opinion but i like top show things that i do not prefer cause sometimes they do open my mind to other views. i do prefer the high contrast version. i usually do

hey screw 'em if they don't like the contrasts and you do! i liked it better with the high contrasts too. : )) i liked the enhanced intense mood of the other version. even if some boring textbook somewhere says it's "wrong" to blow out areas of a photo ; ))
