Although the subject and composition are fine it lacks a certain brightness and crispness.The barn on the left looks dark and gloomy in comparison with the right. Sorry. Regards Marie

This is a really great crop, artistically done. Also, as good as it is, would alsolove to see you experiment with this, say in B&W with a touch too much contrast and a bit of grain. So many possibilities with a shot of this quality.

I love the combination of textures and tones here, I'd personally like a bit more space around the eye to show the lines more completely but still a solid portrait and an original look at the concept of friendship.
