A place I have wanted to visit after looking at Freeman Patersons pictures of the area. Pity the highlights in the building are blown out. Good use of the foreground detail. Regards John

I like your illustrative style although the subject looks as if he is in a trance. Look forward to seeing more in this series. Regards John

Thanks Andreas. No that's not a scratch it's a telephone wire. This is an artistic impression I did to give a feeling of the isolation of the area. Not a true photographic representaion. I like my landscapes to convey mood and feeling as well as the pictorial aspect. Thanks for your interest in my work. Regards John

Thanks for your comment on my work Cytte. I like the mood you have captured here. Very well controlled exposure, especially shooting straight into the sun. I hope that's not a sharkes fin in the water just in front of the windsurfer?

Regards John

The image is too small to really appreciate the range of tones and textures in the picture Andreas. Some pictures do not translate well when downsized too much. Regards John

Another excellent work Fadel. I think maybe just a bit more space around the tree would give a less cramped feel. Just a thought. Do you translate your work into print? Thanks for your comment on my 'Long Way Home.' Regards John

Magnificent sky enhanced by the golden light Tim. All the elements come together very well in your composition. You must a ton of material for your paintings. Regards John

There is no sky in this shot. Not sure what you are seeing. Chris Spracklen asked me the same question. It's just mountain side above the trees.

To increase density I generally duplicate the layer, GB to 8.2 pixels and then adjust top layer blend to either multiply, overlay or softlight, whatever works. Then reduce opacity slightly. I find on my monitor it works well for taking off that harsh digital edge. Just a personal preference.

Cheers John
