this shot is overexposed in the sky.. I know that.. it was shot with a Fuji 2600x digital camera and the reason was the bird.. the elliptical shape of the wing in flight is something i have rarely seen, thanks for looking

This is beautiful, Paul! I hail from the Lilac Capital of the World or so the tourism department says! and lilacs are one of the things I miss - I can almost smell the beautiful fragance of the lilacs here! Thanks for sharing!

if you would like to see a higher rez image Psd of tis shot the detail is much better than the 72 dpi I have used here. I would suggest asking if you have high speed as the file is fairly large

This is a difficult shot to do and get everything in focus...I know because it took a number of shots before I could get one...the colors are great and the composition is a favorite of mine, but the very center is out of focus and that just throws the image off...if you could attempt it again in any flower just watch everything...it would be better to have the petals blurred and the entire center of the flower in focus than have your center of the image blurred

I like the low perspective, and teh colours, but I find that there is too much blue, maybe less sky, or some clouds in the sky. Flowers seem a little soft as well.
