INTERESTING!!! not sure exactly what to think of it, but I like it...but I do wish there is a little more room or space on the top. But it is really cool!!!!

Hi Daniel.. I find your image very captivating and always envy those who can develop a story or say something in thier imagery and you have done that very well here.

On the technical side i have some suggestions. Metal is very hard to photograph and takes some doing to get the lighting just right. I would like to see more separation between the bullet and the spoon which can be done by using reflectors and having your main light source come in from the right angle. If you look at an image i have in my portfolio of an spoon with an egg in it you will see what i mean about the lighting. I think it would help a little if this image was lighted a touch and the contrast pumped up just a little.

I like the composition and content of the image very much but think the technical can be improved...look forward to seeing more of your images..*smile* Maggie

I do not mind the head crop and think your composition is good. For me the hat she is wearing is distracting. Good work.

First let me comment on what a beautiful room mate you have, and what a lucky person you are. OK, now....Although you have used colour here it is still not quite saturated here on my PC. It looks a little flat. I love her expression and her look. It is quite sexy and I get the impression that the relationship with you must be a comfortable one for her to pose so relaxed with a friend. The tree on the right is a litle distracting. I would use Heather again and try to get in closer this time and throw out the BG with less DOF so it isn't so distracting. Because you have such a cooperative model I would use her every day. I hope you keep it up. Bye. Andrew.

To echo the comments on symmetry, her hair and the bush on the right don't quite look right. I think it might be worth trying this again under more even lighting conditions as well. I like what you were trying to do here.

Hi Dan:
I like the color, OK, but...
I don't like the crop on her body. Looks to me to be to harsh. I know you tried to frame her in the tunnel, but I don't think that worked either.
Her expression isn't flattering either. Even if it's a mimic.
Sorry I can't say it's great, but it is my honest opinion.

This is a very interesting shot.. here is my reasons.. you have placed her right in the middle of the light of the tunnel. For a casual glance i thought she was wearing a colorful hat.. upon close examination she is not.. i really like the overexposure done to her face here.. I think overexposure by 0.5 - 1.0 stops on fair skin girls works very well, and it shows.. next there seems to be symmetry to her hair.. i wish she had parted her hair in the middle.. to top the symmetry...

good start.. please view some of my photos..

Certainly an interesting and creative picture, I like it. One leaf seems to be in the way of the white ball...at first I thought it was a candle holder..

utterly decisive
every moment
a scissor's clipping
a life's ended

(more and more I appreciate your experimental, but quite conservative style: thanks a lot for the ideas you're transmitting. so glad, that photographers like you are here, too!)

I can't help but think this is contemplating a major life or death decision in a straightforward self-absorbed way.

Great shot, i really like how the quote just seems to hover in the shot. the bullet in the spoon is just so great to me. i saw your previous shot or maybe it's just another shot with the spoon fed bullet and also loved it. good job, keep it up.
