Kaash voh meri haveli hothi :0)! You're off to a great start Sam(n?)yukt(h)a!! Very brave attempt indeed, to discover the magical world of long-exposures. Next time, I wish you'd try an "f/16 or 22" on this and a longer exposure to gain control of the DOF (depth of field & the carvings you described) you lost in the foreground. Try a few different ones since you seemed to have had the access tot he haveli, the time and the tripod at your disposal. Good luck!! Nice bumpin' into you!

Hey Sanz, I got to see one of your work after so many days, why don't you upload regularly? Anyways this is a colourful one, but could have been better framed! That apart, what news of your life, why don't you reply to my email? Well do you like the changes USEFILM has made in the appearance and user-interface?

you see many pictures like this one, but all of them are usually fully focused... I love this because of the shallow DOF.. very cool!

i like the composition and textures. i wish the people were a little higher and slightly more to the right in the image. i think this image lends itself to B&W as well.

yes, this is in India . Leh is absolutely beautiful . It is remote, modern, and still hasnt lost its charachter . The monasteries are beautiful and very calming .

Even i wasnt comfortable with the exposure and the dof . Mainly because the monk was the main subject of my composition and he seems a little lost . Will take more care with that in the future. : )

thank you for your comments .
