Gutsy shot, Irenka! Speed and color in the same level. I know what you mean by not advising us to do the same. Maybe I'll use a window clamp for my camera.

Lovely. I take a delight in photographing tiny ornaments and things. It's such a happy image, full of wonder and all things good.

Depending on how one sees life, this could be either something beautifully transformed, or something long since passed away. I see it as a transformation, and I'm sure you photographed it as such. Merry Christmas, Ina.

This looks like a resort. And those houseboats are far more good looking than the ones we have here.

Breathtakingly beautiful; it reminds me of bayou country in Florida and Louisiana.

This is documentary, architectural, urban, and landscape all rolled into one photograph. It's a beautiful view into another world.

Wow, congrats on the Christmas present! I guess it begged to be opened before the big day, huh? And that Dig' Rebel is just too good to be without a macro lens. This photo really does look like a solar system. I keep commenting a lot about how nature seems to repeat and re-assign shapes and patterns all throughout, even flowers and universes. But here in this photo, no hint of violence or chaos; just goodness.

Looks fine, Kelly. No need to clean up. This'll be nostalgia years from now.

It's like something from the past! I like the reflections in the glass, too. And the colors are very nice.

Even subconsciously, the face of these Lincoln Continentals will affect a person. It also brings back other memories. It was a simpler time, had its own troubles and problems, but I had good memories because I was lucky to have been a child in that decade.

Hi Ina. The link you gave me sends me right to the old house with the string of Christmas lights. It's a bug alright. I tried going back into your previous photos, and what happens is I get disconnected (twice).

Again, very powerful and evocative. I'm struck by how personal it is. Incredible.

El Dia de Los Muertos and I guess it extends well into La Noche de Los Muertos. I'm seeing a very personal and heartfelt "thing" in this photograph. And I feel as if I'm intruding. Quite a powerful, evocative piece.

This image really tugs on the ol heart strings. I hope she's getting fed by somebody. It's beautifully composed.

Looks very documentary in style. I like how everything focuses on her. The person in the background is perfectly out of focus, but still an element in the photograph.

Wow, where is this? I can't get enough of little sanctuaries like these. It's beautifully and thoughtfully composed from top to bottom, and side to side. Just lovely.

Sometimes, the unplanned portrait has something about it that I like, and this one does. It's his expression, I think. Very handsome primate.

I love ducks. I had one as a pet when I was little. They really are a handsome couple, and you captured them and their surroundings really well.

I think it richly deserves to be an art gallery. That wall's spectacular. A nice tribute to an historic place.

I like miniatures, and photographing them is a real treat. And it sure looks like your pre-owned camera is working really well from the looks of this photo.

Super shot! With everything else going on in and around the water, the thing that I find especially nice is the hint of warm sunlight at the upper left of the photograph.

I think with the warp effect, the feel of the place is heightened. That's why when I use wide-angle lenses, i don't bother to "fix" convergence and divergence. I prefer to exaggerate it, because through human eyes, our field of view is so much more than what a lens can cover.

Hi Andre; congrats on your anniversary. I put this in my favorites, because I've attempted shots like these, with varied results, which weren't as successful as this. Looks like an old fashioned '60's tv, remember those jet-age designs back then? I was thinking of getting an old old chassis and stuffing a new tv inside for a '60's look.

Sooner or later, nature takes it back. We're only here for a little while anyway. I like the harmony between the colors. Even the juxtaposition between living forms and man-made lines coexist beautifully.

We're finally back online, I see. I thought I was seeing a painter's studio here, with all of those off-the-wall colors of oxidation.
