Good capture of the colors of the area, including the trees. Interesting composition; although the main rocks are centered, there are enough layers and diagonals that it works for me. The thumbnail seemed to be an abstract rather than a landscape.
For improvement: the highlights are blown out, and I'd like to see the rocks just a bit sharper.

Cute picture...My dog Cowboy is probably up there with your dog as the happiest being ever... I adopted him after he had to get his left front leg removed due to neglect from his previous owner. Even though he is missing a limb, he is the most energetic, active, and blissfully joyful dog that I've ever seen. Maybe I'll post a picture where you can see his freaky leg stub sometime...

This is good - the thunderclouds add a lot of atmosphere and threat and its well composed to emphasise the sky. I like the effect with the different bands of colours too. You were obviously in the right place at the right time.
