I like the vertical composition; it fits the subject - and the "lines".....GOOD PHOTO !

it's pure and reflects a kind of melancholic mood. I like the quite hard contrasts. nice composition.

Hi, Britt!
I like this photo a lot.
(Just don't understand how noone's didn't noticed that yet...)
Maybe it is a little overexposed in the waterpipe itself, compairing with the rest of the composition. But it is ok. I think.

I read your comment about my last shot; I've made what you said, but I prefer to view it like it is. Changing it to grayscale mixes the colored stool with the floor and make no contrast at all. What left the composition a bit weird IMHO. Thanks anyway for iy.
Regards.

I believe this photograph suffers from a lack of contrast. Although this fact does provide for an unusual effect and an original viewing experience, maybe adjusting the levels would help give a better impression of what the actual subject of the photo is.

Nice straight verticals, which are to be expected with a view camera. No need to fool with PS here! Very formally composed, again a function of taking the time to set up the camera and think about what you want to do. I'm a snapshooter, so will probably never know the feeling ? but I can appreciate!

Britt,

Nice shot but the shadow is a bit distracting. I think the real shot here is closer and more of the peeling paint.

If you want to make it "sinister" looking, I suggest you blur it a bit. And maybe add a little color for visual interest (see below). You're able to capture some great detail with your camera..

Great image, & extremely sharp too! You have a good eye for the unusual.
The colours work really well together I reckon.
Cheers!

Busy picture because not close enough to the flowers (i cannot see any flower detail), i would pick out a couple of nice ones, close in the max possible, and make a composition out of it (for example).. Peter

Doesn't do much for me but that just a personal opinion. The focus and originality of the picture are great and it is also well titled.
It leaves much to the imagination, which can be good for some viewers.
