I love your portfolio! Especially the way that you capture the eyes of your models. That is something I would really like to learn!

My regards, Mattias

I dont know why, but to me it looks like it's not her hands.. Maybe its the shoulders that look to relaxed or something.. whell, anyway..

I think it is a nice portrait that might benefit of a little more light on her eyes.. And the hand thing makes it a little more intriguing (why do I always think of words that I cant spell?)

Regards, Mattias

Nice old buildings.. But I really think that you should do everything in your power to Exclude the new(er) building to the left...

I like this alot more than the other one with the bubbles. The girl seams more relaxed in this one. I also like that you see her mouth in this one. The mouth is so strongly connected to blowing soap bubbles that I think it makes a stronger image if you can see it.. Do I make any kind of sense?

just my2c.. Mattias

Splendid! Definitely calender material!

Am I correct in my assumption that it is Fuji Velvia?

Beautiful autumn photo. The colours, old wood and DOF is great.

How nice to find a solemate!
I also love to carve things from wood. I use mostly juniper wood myself, a hard, slow growing wood with great texture. I love to spend a weekend with a pice of wood and a knife and some sandpaper. I usually end up with a small spoon. The feeling when you are really satisfied with the result is great... But, as for you, It's faar to seldom that I can find time and inspiration.

About the photo, I think that the position of the flash makes the bowl look flat. If the light came from the side I think that it would appear more 3D..

regards Mattias

I like that you tilted the photo, the diagonal lines and colour composition is great.

I LOVE THIS!

Really stunning work! The fact that its only one exposure and no PS is exceptional in my mind.

I thik that the crop is a bit hard, in my opinion it would have been better with a little more space to the right, including the whole beard and hat in the shot...

I was inspired by the title to write a limeric, but I didnt get wery far with it, not many words rime with quebeq..
'There was an old man from quebeq
Who had in his beard a ?????'
whell, thats how far I got..

Thank you Alessandro.. I have actually been looking for a 20mm for some time, but have not been able to locate one.. I'm on a tight budget so I would like to find one cheap, but thats not possible I think

One way of learning (and maybe the best) is to try and copy other photog. work..

I would like to see a little more contrast (her hair could be a little darker e.g.). I also think that the man on the bike in the background somehow makes the photo a little more exiting..
