I cut more than that off and they didn't sew it back on. It did, however, pretty much grow back normally.

Mattias, I like what you have captured in this image. I would like to see a closer crop on the left side, making the windowsill off center more and the reflection in the bottom right 1/4 of the image cloned out possibly. Through my eyes only.

Dont sweat it! I will still keep using my old trusty Minolta x700. Mostly for Black and white work. There is a special feeling when you capture something on real film, develop it youself etc.

OK, technically it's not a photograph, but it's still a captured image, the more methods with which we can continue to capture images, the richer the artform will continue to be. So no Mattias, don't do it - use both film and digital! Unless people keep on buying film it might disappear and then what will I do with my camera collection?

I was chased by one once, they can be quite scary as I mentionen earlier..

The problem is that we (humans) have killed the natural enemy of the elk, (wolves etc.) and the elk population must somehow be kept under control.

Plus the fact that the meat is exquisite

yes the manual focus is usually hard with moving people, digital AF have made it much easier, so we could concentrate on other things like the aperture and shutter speed.
this is a very good composition shot, and sure i guess it is better in B&W, well done

Oh, by the way.. I have been very undecesive about the whole film/digital story.. But after trying out my friends cannon 300D I have taken a big step towards a digital system camera.. So, when ever I got the money I will probably invest them in one.. I will however keep shooting b&w with my current 'trotjänare' as we say in sweden, old pal you might say, the minolta x700 that i inherited from my grandfather. I really like that camera, and especially the lens I got a year ago, the 135mm 2.8 that I think is quite sharp.. But shooting with a manual focus is hard, especially when you try to take spontaneous photos of people, people does have a tendency to move around which complicates matters..

(ok there probably are some spelling problems but I dont think you mind.. it's late and I am tired)
