This reminds me of a painting...you have captured a good composition with good color to the foreground and right side of the image....the background seems a bit washed out...but it appears you have an overcast sky which would result in that effect...however it is still quite stunning...

looks to me that you just missed this shot. i think you'd agree the shot was about 3 secs early when the ducks were further tp the left. the image isn't the sharpest either, which is very understandable considering the light. the rocks in front of the ducks also hurt the composition.

I think there is too much 'empty space'. The photo misses something but I can't put my finger on what. Maybe zoom in a little more on the horse.

Looks like one of those people who usually wouldn't let you take a photo of him. I know those people very well. Nice capture. If he were a little sharper it might be better.

Very nice portrait. I get the sense from his rather weather-beaten face that he is fisherman or farmer. The facial expression shows a lot of dignity too, which is a nice touch. I bet there are some interesting things this old gentleman could tell us.

Really nice shot. I think that in this case colour is better than b&w would have been.

Hmmm. For me the tone, fuzzy focus and scratches don't give it anything at all. Put the Lubitel back in the cupboard. The composition is 1st class. I just think this photo would be 100% better with a decent camera.

I can't say how others will view in but I very much like the tone and fuzzy focus which helps to date the capture and give it a warmth.

This is a great shot but it would be a wonderful shot in B&W.

Good work!

I like this one...the simple lines of nature. I think this scene would make a great black and white shot, too.
