Simplicity - like haiku - simple, stark, and to the point.

I love images like this. The bright, bold colors mostly. The happy-face makes for a whimsical feeling. I wonder how it would be with just a blue ball without a face printed on it.

Strong composition here Carmen. I like how the eye bounces through this shot. I do wish there was more texture, but know that wasn't the effect you were going for.

An interesting concept for a self portrait. The centre tile looks too much white in my view.Great expression as well.

I really like this effect, it goes very well with your expression. My only nit would be the two very squares corners right at the corners of your mouth... it cramps the bottom part of your face just a tad too much... Well done.

Hey ! That's the modern Mona Lisa ! :-)) I like this, Carmen. It's fun and fresh, with nice colors too. Sometimes a mad concept is all a picture needs.

An idea came to my mind - not sur whether it would be an improvement in fact, but I'll share it with you anyway... What about cropping off the left - keeping a perfect square ? Graphically and for the composition, it seems interesting... Believe it or not, i'd actually frame that square and put it in my kids room with pleasure... Nice.

"What is this image abo... wait... what's that... WOW!!! Check that OUT!!!" That was my thought process when first viewing this photo... the dark image makes you wonder and partially hides the silouette, but once the brain deciphers the image you can't take your eyes off it.

unless one looks carefully - it;s not the kind of image that is going to scream for attention - but this color combination is wonderful - I would love to see this printed - it is dark and mysterious - the lines of red add a special touch

Has anyone else seen the car commercial where the two girls are pondering life in their Honda, and wondering why there are no fat squirrels? I think they need to see this image!! Thanks for the morning laugh!

This is hilarious. I'm hoping for this "little" guys sake that this is a well timed shot of the chills. Otherwise, he needs to get into his cardiologist ASAP. Thanks for the post.
