Very nice job catching the reflection here. I like the tones of the shot as a whole too. Very nice work.

Where abouts in central OH are you? Went to school in that part of the world. I still think there are places there that are as beautiful as any on the face of the earth.

Wow, I wish this were a little clearer, but what a powerful image. It makes me curious about the story behind it.

Jeremy, I like this composition a lot! Great set up including the back of Tom's head in the frame. The look on his face is priceless. Looks like he treated the shaving of his head with such seriousness. Definitely makes me smile. Very nice work. Thanks for the suggestion to look at this one.

Thanks Lisa and I agree, I think sometimes people just score low for no reason. I am far from thinking that I deserve anywhere near a perfect or near perfect score, as Im a very new photographer. I wish that there was a "comment requirement" when giving a rating, so at least the person would say WHY they think a photograph stinks so bad. Then at least I could improve it. But thanks for your comments. All the best!

Is it just me or is someone going in and giving everyone a "2" just to be mean? Jeremy, I think this is a cool shot and a unique one for the record I gave it a -- aaagh! A 6?! That wasn't what I mean to do! Well, it should have at least been a 7 or 8. Stupid buttons! Stupid me not paying attention (I do this a lot) NOt perfection, but well, pretty darn close to and a really cool idea for a photo.

Thanks Andy,

It is B&W, but I just realized that I scanned it in colored so it seems to have a pinkish hue to it, or at least that is how it looks to me. I rescanned with B&W, and did some cropping to see if I could "kick it up a notch or two". May have made it better, may have made it worse. Let me know what you think of the redo

Looks good to me but then again I'm no expert on aerial photography. The monitor I'm viewing this on is less than optimal. Is this color or B&W film?

I think it would be cool in the future to see what you could do with a wide-angle lens to capture a more expansive landscape and the horizon. Nice work.

I reworked this after seeing it again, with a tighter crop. Let me know what you think.

At first I thought this was a moonlit shot, but then I noticed that the light was coming from high overhead and was strong enough to illuminate the clouds. Was this a daylight shot altered to simulate moonlight?
