Real nice colours and well composed photo,maybe a little soft but i guss the compression did that,i too would have liked you to get rid of the ladder!

WoW! What wonderful color! I would be sure to go back this fall and try getting it without the ladder, but this is a beautiful photograph even with it.....Good work and I'll be sure to watch for more from you! Keep them coming!

Elaine, I don't claim to be an expert on this type of shot. I mostly do "people" type photography but I like this very much. With the composition, you captured a 4-5 dimensional effect that makes the shot very interesting. The shadows, at the top, and the stain, at the bottom of the window add to the overall value of the picture. Great job!

I like the composition and lighting in this shot. However, the scanning process always softens otherwise sharp original images.
I suggest that you use a sharpening utility like Photoshop unsharp mask or similar to recover some of the detail lost when you scanned the film image
