text is a funny thing to add to a photo...it becomes part of the compostion. I'll ask you, what do you see as you walk away from this image and see the text from afar....?
You want a more horizontal feel - something that flows with the photo, not against it.

great capture, would like to see another composition though. your main subject and the highlight in the clouds it makes this piece feel unbalanced. i love the tones. do you have another?!

i have to diagree bob, the placement here coupled with the "over the shoulder glance" lends to the feeling she's moving on, up, and away from what we see; a sense of completion and finality.

I prefer the color version, with grain, but would like to see this shot at from another angle...maybe a static, straight forward angle....like the faded colors none-the- less
