Thanks Gary. The toning hides a flat light day and terrible weather in a dull Skegness!!

With AP it all came as a bit of a shock. A mate and I decided to enter each round and we're having a mini competition between ourselves. So far we have both been top 30 in rounds 2 & 4. Whilst we are trying to enter new photos we are allowing old ones if, for whatever reason, we don't have time to work on new ones.

I was just lucky with an old one!

Simple. But very nicely done. Square is good. Contrast between wire and sky is great. Superb pattern in the sky!

As ever - very special. If I could achieve anything as 1/2 as good as this, I would be smiling.

Good silhouttes and composition. Great lighting to the left well handled because of the high contrast. Nice one.

Very relaxing composition. Colours look super. Not sure about the person at the top. He adds some scale to the perspective but (in my opinion) should not be there.

I quite like the lighter circle patch you have added and how it runs into the frame. Nice presentation.

Great silhouette and crop. The grain is good. Excellent dark tones and crisp whites. The fence is good but because of the resolution of the website the wire between looks too sharp (very slight white halo). I think the full size version of this would look great.

Seedy 70's colour cast. Love it.

Un abrazo.

Un abrazo.

Super rich colours and an interesting composition.

The grass silhouettes make this a stronger photo.

Great attitude shot. I may have been tempted to put a little more space between model and metal fence, and used a slightly wider aperture just to separate them a little. Beautiful model.

Great low key portrait that has been superbly lit. The tones are fantastic and the detail excellent. Tight composition is good and the eye contact between camera and sitter a real winner.

Well done on a super portrait.

Good tonal range. Almost a painted effect in the sky.

Great clouds. Nice B&W.

A very fine piece. I would be in two minds about the removing the whispy cloud at the very top.

I love the low horizon, the simplicity of the composition of the poles and all that empty space above. Unusual effect with the cross processing.

Good angle and POV. DOF has been nicely done with the super wide lens.

The empty space, the spotlight effect on your model (your girlfriend?) and the non eye contact make this a better image.

You have uploaded some fine photographs recently. Be well.

Bright red on vibrant yello work well. I would be tempted to take 1/2 a step backward to allow a little room around the locks and bolts.

Be happy my friend.

The perspective is disorientating which I like. Love the deep blue sky and moving effect in the clouds. The seagull is the icing on the cake.

Just a hint of the person makes this. B&W tones make for a moody photo. Nicely exposed Avi, under difficult conditions of high contrast.

Be well.

For an image made from just one colour, this is really good. The compressed perspective from the telephoto lens and the simple rolling hills make for a great abstracted landscape photo. Square looks good too.

Not sure about your title, but the image itself is absolutely fantastic. From the slightly off angle, to the grain and fantastic tones; this to me, is superb.

Great with just a hint of colour. Square crop works well. For a 15s exposure there is not a lot of movement in the crop. You must have a very still day.
