Thank you Angela, I too love the tree, but I will try another shot as Hrayr suggests after the lastest storm passes. I'm not sure that I'll be getting the same amount of leaves or rich colours though. Cheers, Anita

Thank you, Hrayr. I will try another shot of the Bay as you suggest without the trees as soon as it stops rainning. It seems that Fall rains have caught up with us and it may be the Bay with many less leaves after this storm blows over. Thanks for the suggestions. Cheers, Anita

I love the title as much as the subject. Well done Gregory. This looks very much like our Mount Robson in British colimbia. My son Chris Sitter posted some shots of it on his site.
I love the feeling of the trees and fields in the forground of the photo. Congratulations. Cheers, Anita

An awesome photo John.
I love the rich colours and the contrasting shadows on the right from the clouds. Congratulations. I really like the wide angle feel as it gives a great portrait of the wide openess of your country. Much like our Canadian prairies. Cheers, Anita

I loved your comment, Jan, and you're sure right about the funny two legged story. They transport the bears away here also if they become a bigger problem, but there are so many of them now they don't seem to be bothering to that very often. We have one eating the aspples in our neighbours yard everynight and then cutting through our yard to head for the water.
I was just inside my friend's house behind a sliding glass door and he was on the cement pattio just outside. I'm glad the glass held when he hit it. Later he just amble off into the trees, beside the house. Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers, Anita

Thanks Ron, Yes I think he was a pretty small bear, probably a two year old whose Mother had shooed him off to find his own territory. However, when there is just a piece of glass between you and that bundle of fur he looks pretty intimidating. Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers, Anita

Thanks Jan I'm glad you liked the photo. They really are lovely gentle animals though aren't they ...even if they are tough on the roses. When he was young, our Grandson in Albany California, started calling Bambi evil and we couldn't figure out why; until we learned that the deer were eating his mothers roses. Thanks again, Anita

Glad you enjoyed the photo Shelby, and it is hunting season here also, but not in the neighbourhoods! Maybe that's why the smart deer hang around the towns..that and all the good plant food we have planted just for them! Thanks Shelby, Cheers, Anita

Yes John we do have lots of deer here and if you check out my photos for today you'll see what else we have pleny of. I don't know too much about buck but could it be a parent and two yearlings or do the antlers tell you they are all the same age? Thanks John,I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. Cheers, Anita
