Very good photo! This reflections are excellent. Overall all composition is good. You are welcome in my portfolio, see a " Landscape with my VW" and "Autumn Landscape with VW". Cheers, Diego.

Just saw, what you could have done (if possible) was take some steps to the left, to see the left side of that column row. And to seperate it from the Colosseum. That way, the lines created by the row would lead to the colosseum itself.

thanks for your nice words

no Wietse, I wasn't there with our school; last year (my sixth year in Latin-Maths humaniora) our teacher wouldn't want to go with us to Rome or Greede because she "didn't want to spend her only vacation in Spring with her pupils".
So this year, I grabbed all my Lufthansa Frequent Flyer Miles and bought my girlfriend and myself a return ticket in business class (it was well worth it).

Giovanni, this shot perfectly illustrates the atmosphere in Rome. Were you there with your school?

Well done! It is hard to visit a place and see past the images you have in your mind that have been made zillions of times before but this does is AND more importantly, maintains an identifiable look of the subject.

My only suggestion would be to crop from the right to eliminate the blossom at the top right edge.

Thanks for your comment,

The slide itself was tack-sharp, but in the scanning process and JPEG-compression, some sharpness was lost.

I like the subject. I started to ask how people hang their clothes up so high off the ground. I see the pulley and string now. I'm just thinking I would like to see the clothing a bit sharper. I do like the underexposure tho.
