Fantastic shot.

I dont know if it would be better without the piece of the car in the frame. Seeing the car sort of adds to the spontaneous nature of the image in a way.

Fantastic - reminds me of japanese art.
The only thing that could add to it would be more definition to the red sections on the sun.

Would you mind explaining the process ?

Ahh, if only that silly looking man hadnt been in the frame. Other than him, the photo is excellent.

I agree that the emphasis of the picture isnt quite on the precarious position of the poles, but I really like the grasses and the atmosphere of the photo in general.

If the photo was composed a bit more tightly, thereby excluding the bushes to either side and increasing the prominence of the poles, I think it would really have impact.

I did a crop of your picture as a rough approximation.

It doesnt appeal to my sensibilites. I dont see any main point of interest to which the eye is drawn.

I do think its a great picture in that youre looking for interesting images in untypical places.

Hope that helped.

some risky business...

I think I actually liked your earlier shot more, it seems to capture the concentration of the archer more so than this image.

I agree with you, after uploading it, I really thought it goes nowhere without at least another cloud to fill all that vacant space...

Obviously an excellent Image, and I think your mission was well accomplished.

I think having some of the grasses above surface level in focus would have been interesting. Whether this was plausible, I dont know - you were there (with the great idea, not me.
