Not sure why there are no comments here. I think this is a wonderful capture, nicely composed, good detail and great tonal values...

Another superb image txules.pity about the right side, but from a simply pleasing image point of view, does not detract too much.

wonderful image...threatening - yet beautiful sky.
Interest in the forground, horizon meeting the skyline is great.Title is clever and given the feel of this picture, is perfectly suited...

Not that I would want to call smoke bellowing into the sky a beautiful image, but you certainly have a powerful one here....

very good pauline.Prefer this to "between the lines"
The lines are not quite as symmetrical, and the perpective is more interesting. great tones. Enjoyed your portfolio.

Giuseppe, I have spent a lot of time in Mauritius the last couple of years, and things there move so slowly (and backwards yes)that it is the only place I know where people get younger by the day....lol

Hi Michele
I agree with Paul in that i too see that banding.best way i can think of to describe this...
Often when looking out of an aeroplane window, depending on your point of view and the light (perhaps something to do with the plastic nature of the window) there is a multicolour "banding" quite clearly visible on the window...
Also read something here once about shooting out of an aero window with a polarizer on...tried it and got the same result...more banding...was this shot through a window?

Interesting shot carlos - nice perspective. The one long scratch tho looks out of place, and is that an alien character I see top right?

Very interesting series Chris, the movement in this one quite dramatic. Coming from a place where these conditions just never occur, its a frightening thought to even contemplate driving, never mind at highway speeds or overtaking....19h00 and a balmy 26 deg. outside....

Thanks Beks - all inspired by your series. took it as bit of a challenge.Must say i looked at the reflections too, but decided I really liked the sunnies and the extra dimension they gave. The fact that they all had them on helped too.
look forward to many more awards now that you are on a roll....

I like this shot too...Heavy lens and all. I like the focus as is - a little different - as a beginner, one of the first things that disturbed me, was how people insisted on the rules - rules and creativity always at loggerheads.Having said all that, I feel the subject (michael?) and pathway is tooo centred...go on then, shoot me if you will.Overall, i think its a great job with a really nice warm feel.well done wendy.

Wonderful composition Paul.Clean simple lines,Great tones (as with all of your port.)lighting is spot on, and the sign boards (while meaningless to me) add a point of interest. Also interesting is how clean it is given its a train station...?
