Ok Jan - Your point taken - drinking and driving should not be trivialised - this was not my intention. In honour of your "a sober moment" will change the title to something a little less.....'irresponsible?'
Perhaps your aversion to drinking and driving is what prevented you from commenting on the image itself...?
regards
Chris

Thanks Jan - a very far cry from where I live, although if one looks hard enough....
Yes that shot was hand held, I did have more than one attempt, especially considering that I had more than 1 beer too...

Another Beautiful image Ipunk. these children appear almost amazed by the scene you have captured themselves.
Bottom crop may be a little tight for my liking, but a good work anyway...

I like this Tony. There is a grainy feel to it, that speaks of hardship. The B/W tones compliment it beautifully - can only further echo Jan's thoughts.... As I look more the composition too should not be ignored - again echoing Jans thoughts on the proud herdsman - will look at the others too.
Well done!!

Nice image, but with heads and balloon cropped off, I would be tempted to crop it further to have just the little girl...
Like the tones...

A most interesting treatment of a fairly ordinary image. the colours are vivid and bring the "moonface' to life in a most obscure way...
I like it! well done

Beautiful work marco.Great perspective - well taken.
A piece of advice that was given to me, perhaps a border would distinguish from the white of the USF web page and make it stand out a little more.
Great work nonetheless, and thank you for your comments...

Thank you Doyle, for taking the time to comment on this as well as "Koh Pannyi" As mentioned to Fabrice, it seems as if people are content to fly by without offering anything of themselves. There are some notable exceptions - of which you are right up there, and I guess leaving this distraction in, was my way of seeing how many people are involved beyond looking.
I too am guilty of not getting as involved as I could at times...blah blah blah...enough of the social commentry - thank you again Doyle for giving up of your time and experience.

Thanks for commenting Fabrice. The bright rays are actually leaves from a plant in the forground - a little less distracting in colour. I had agonised for a long while as to whether I should attempt to remove them, and finally decided against - It has been a source of frustration for me lately, that you may get a lot of views, but no comments - contructive or otherwise.... my way of testing the system.... Thank you again.

Wonderful perspective on this Anthony. The scale of this buliding is clear to see - it seems so big that it just vanishes into the rafters....
You certainly have got this particular colour technique worked out.Keep up the interesting portfolio...
Thanks for commenting on my "Tree Alley"

Having just commented on "killing me softly" - had a look at your portfolio. This image, as well as the rest of your portfolio, are excellent. The treatment that you apply is wonderful, and certainly something that I would love to learn to to emulate. Well done!

Lovely image. The model makes the "art?" of smoking quite seductive - while the processing and resulting tones, together with the choice of location, make her look equally seductive... I do find that "something" (make-up?) on her left eye just a little distracting and would have been tempted to remove it.Overall though, a nice piece of work. The title is also perfect!
