Wow! Great abstract. I love the texture, the colours, the highlights and shadows. Very much in tune with my own style. I really like! Congrats!

It's a statement that says vulnerability does not quell defiance. Great photograph. I've always believed that there are those out there that despite their amateur or unknown status are well beyond amateurish ability.

Charming...that's how I feel about my brother sometimes....lol. Thank you for the notes about this picture it enhances the view to understand the setting and occasion. I appreciate how you composed this to have the view move from left to right and how you were able to focus close enough to capture the emotion. I would not mess with this guy. Very nicely done.

very nice light and DOF... but it's too closer. I think it could work better with a vertical size to have more water.

Simple, very powerful composition, colors, DOF.... yet it has something deeper than this... it captures feeling, story... great shot

Gorgeous colours in the flower... and I love the contrast between black background and flower on fire. I know that the bright blob is the sun and you know it is the sun, but to some, they may not get it.... was there any way to keep the awesome colour and move to use the flower as a blocker to mask the sun?
I am a sucker for reds and oranges... so you've made my day in that respect!

Thank you for your comments. Yes Petros I aswell was thinking of cropping out the beercan. But since this man was a homeless, I figured that the beercan was like a accessory to him.

And to Julia, thank you, I don?t know what was haunting him this day, but the fact that he was homeless makes you wonder if this like most of his days.

The title would have made more sense with the beer can cropped out of the picture. With it, the guy looks like he's had one too many drinks, rather than a person in pain and agony. Of course some might say that it's the same thing...

Also, I think that this would work a lot better with out the person standing up, left of the subject. Very well seen Jonas :-)

How beautiful! Not only the "rebellion" of that open window, but the detail of alining the reflection of the neighboring building with the subject's architecture; adds to the grace of the image. Such an eye! Surely, you positioned yourself to attain this detail of perfection!

A Really nice shot you have produced here Jonas, well seen and I really like the "dot" composition in this picture. The eyes strives to the dot and you really explore the entire picture. Great work, keep it up!

I hate trying to take pictures from that level between a one-knee kneel and a very slight crouch. It?s damn uncomfortable and, as your image illustrated so well, looks silly. Thanks for the grin?

Hmm, interresting.. But I think it looses some of the "morning feeling" allthough you made the picture less centered.. Well, pros and cons.. Like allways..
