I work on films as a lighting tech so the photography thing is just a hobby....i love it though, as it allows me complete control of the creative process....my only advice is to shoot for yourself and dont chase trends...your style will find its own audience...and hopefully an audience willing to pay you for it....

yeh cindy sherman plays a big part in my work at the moment..ive also been using wigs etc to adopt a certain persona of myself. its my final major project at university now so i really have to push myself...so are you a proffesional photographer or is it just a hobby for you? or a student maybe?

thank you...if your into the mask thing you should check out cindy shermans work...she uses herself as a model 'playing' different characters...esp. her film still series from the 1970's...great stuff....Your 'me' photo reminds me of French 'new wave' cinema for some reason...cheers

Great design/layout here. The repetition is nice and the cool tinting seems fitting. I like the cropping as well. Have you thought of a better title for this? Personally, I think "me" just doesnt say enough.

Hi Lindsey,
Very well postprocessed triptych, with it's polaroid look and feel, it sure has a nice vintage atmosphere about it. Interesting combination of subjects, allowing for a wide interpretation. That's a good quality of a photo, I believe.

this is the sort of pictures I like more.
I think that the composition of several images, without substantial alteration from each one to the others, is mostly effective.

I love the cropping in this image! I think by not having all of your body in it makes you look confined in such a small place, it's very intrusive because of this, and because of the way your sitting. Fantastico...i think Kambiz is just overly conventional and his monotonous comments are just because he doesnt like things that are different! Get out of that goddamn image box! Hahaha!
