Very nice... I like especially the different surface structures that you have managed to capture so well - those of alga, water and clouds.

Aloha John,

I've been here seriously studying this image of yours for a long time now and this is what I think but first with a little history about your Great Country:

1. In 1986 I flew straight from Los Angeles to Hawaii to Auckland to Perth viewing the 1400 Mile Stretch of the Nullabar Plain like an equatorial line without any deviation straight forward whatsoever towards Perth and then stayed in Cottesloe almost right across the beach drinking Swan Lager for a week or so before departing on a Continental Journey up to and past 385 Mile Beach to Broome. Back down to Perth because the Monsoon hit Derby and then back across the Nullabar Plain on land this time by motorcycle to Port Augusta. After that went inland all the way through Broken Hill to Port Macquarie if that spelling is correct with the beautiful pine trees showing up at the East Coast Ocean there. Then up the coast all the way to Port Douglas and back down to Surfer's Paradise. Sold my SP500 Suzuki Road & Trail and flew back to Perth with a Birthday departure in February 1987 back to Hawaii where have been almost since! What a long story huh? :))

2. Now for the image:

a. Cropped to a sqauer format to even furhter enhance 'The Rule of Thirds.

b. Converted to a different color with the 'Sunset Filter'.

c. The buoy reminded me of a 'Polaris Missle' exiting a Submarine but from the Coning Tower instead.

d. The sky I recreated portrays the color of the pre-effects of a Nuclear Blast.

e. 'The Rule' now is to: 'Live in Peace' ...

Best of Regards!

Great composition and capture of the light. The colors are incredible. The cloud blur is really nice, and the colors in the foreground are really eye pleasing.
Be well, Stan
