Nice simple shot!! I like the different (shadow) lines, but I would've taken the shot under a small angle so that you'd get/introduce stronger diagonals and lose those lens flares as well...

Beautiful combination of blue/silvery and copper (golden)tones of the gear and fragile web over them /in the period of the day just before the sunset ,these colours could be quite natural.In reality we sometimes ,(knowing the basic colours of the objects),just don't see that the colours are changing with the changes of external light.

wow that's a gorgeous shot. i love the vibrant purple and how well it came up. The composition is amazing too; the windows are centered horizontaly but verticaly they are of center and i love that.

these are the kind of photos i love to see. i dont know why but walls and other surfaces have such interesting textures and colors expecialy with the right lighting and this photo clearly demonstrates that. this has to be one of my favorite photos in your collection. great eye

Too much blue? Well maybe, but I think it works to emphasise the shape of the cogs and contrasts nicely with the orange rusty colours.
