I should have used a polarizing filter but alas forgot it in the hurry to get out on a beautiful day. I did some Photoshop work and have added it to this comment. Good luck to you and thanks again.

That's some pretty red bricks! Composition works to highlight the chimney - leads the eye up the picture. All that's missing (as far as I'm concerned) is a deep blue sky to cap off that red stripe of colour. I also like the detail in the peeling paint on the wood. Nice find, well seen, good picture.
