I enjoy the high standard and feel of much of the work posted here in comparison to other sites, particularly in monochrome, and aspire to approach those of the best. I enjoy pictures that go beyond mere "record shots" and portray an atmosphere, an emotion or even just a mundane, everyday subject in an appealing light.
