About: At the age of 50 or 51 I put aside several mistaken belief. The first of which was that photography was too expensive for me. The second was that I should be using an automatic camera.

E-bay and inexpensive Russian cameras, such as the Zenit line, gave my art opportunity to blossom.

I now use only manual cameras, both 35 and midformat. I consider myself an amateur on the way to being a professional. I am an artist, who unlike most, has no great wisdom to impart, except this, If it's worth doing, it's worth the ride.
