About: Caiado is the midle name of a 41 years old long hair portuguese photographer who counts almost 50 individual exhibitions in several alternativ and conventional spaces in Portugal and Spain.
The main theme of his art is the intimistic feminin, word that Caiado rather prefere than nude, artistic or erotic.
The intimistic concept has nothing to do with the direct exposure of the female body. To separate these thin concepts, Caiado figths for a room of his own in the portuguese comtemporary photography since 1991, when he bought his 1st camera.
His carreer is a reference for beginers and entusiastics of photography: seeks for places that are open at nigth / demands allways for a printed invitation or flyer about the event / never repeats a exhibition (that means the images are inedits) / never prints copies of a sold picture (which makes every image of Caiado an original). caiado69@sapo.pt
