About: My interest in photography began as a child when I would stand in my father's darkroom watching him work arcane magic on wedding photographs that he took as a semi-pro. The smell of the chemicals and the red light will remain with me forever.

Having started my 'serious' photography using a Fuji S2 Pro digital SLR, I moved to a Mamiya 7II medium format film camera in 2004 and have never looked back. Medium format offers much higher resolution and wonderful tonality and I find the essentially manual Mamiya a joy to use.

I sell prints of my images and have contributed a number of articles to 'Amateur Photographer' magazine in the UK. If you'd like to order prints online then please visit my gallery at:
