About: It seems the older I get the more I realize just how precious life is and what a blessing it is to be able to capture the finer moments via photography.
I love photographing clouds, nature and animals most. Sunsets and sunrises, plants, trees, anything having to do with God's awesome Creation is fine for me.
I am self learning photoshop and paint shop pro mostly through tips picked up at websites like this one.
These days my main camera is a Canon Powershot Pro 1. I love the adjustable viewer as I find the angles it allows me can be very interesting. I still don't know how to use half the functions, and I have great difficulty understanding the instruction book, (not the book, but rather how my brain works), but I learn more about it's incredible features every time I use it.
Digital photography is so economical.
I can shoot hundreds of images and then delete all but the best.
Still waiting to take classes in the near future so as to increase my knowledge and learn how to make my photos better. (and shoot less bad images!)
This site is awesome! I love that others will take the time to post feedback on my photos, and I gain new perspective daily as travel the world browsing the portfolios of others.
