About: James Kazan resides in Cleveland Heights, Ohio. He took his first photo class in 1967 where he learned to shoot and develop film using Graflex 4x5's. Jim continued on to the university level where he worked with large format, 35mm, film and video. He is a graduate of Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.

James Kazan has spent his entire career around cameras working the pasted thirty-three years as a television engineer at the national and local levels. He has recently retired from Fox Television previously working and freelancing for ABC, CBS, and NBC television networks. He has been quoted as saying “Well it sure beat working for a living”.
