About: I like to take pictures. I like old cameras, as objects and as, well, as cameras. I collect cameras. I am a victim of Ebay. ("Just imagine what he might have been able to accomplish, if he had devoted himself to doing good!") I particularly like old mechanical cameras with good lenses - Tessar, Planar, Takumar. I get a thrill when a "new" old camera arrives, and even more when photos - all too often of familiar subjects - turn out really well.
