I think the relaxed look makes the shot as well. I used to handle that camera so much that she never knew when I was really taking pictures. I guess she just learned to ignore it :)

This is a great shot Andre, it's great when the subject you're shooting can become so relaxed with the camera, it really makes a big difference. The DOF in the shot is great, as is the tone and composition. As I said of a shot of your spitfire, seeing this really inspires me to try and take more candid shots of my friends and family. With a bit of practice maybe one day they'll turn out as well as yours!

Hi Endre,
I think they are still available. Every now and then they like to re-issue some retro looking stuff. Most of what we get now are vacuum plastic and aluminium cans.

Hi Mervo,
It's one of the advantages of getting older. Make sure you hang on to all your old prints, negatives, disks, files, whatever. Then you can be one of the keepers of the archives too in a few years. ;)

I think it was one of those moments that wasn't posed at all. Just taken! I think when someone carries a camera with them all the time, eventually their partner becomes de-sensitized to it and looses their inhibitions. The shots then become a little more natural and un-staged looking. You probably find the same thing happening.
